The Instructor Behind Opp Seminars

Christian Opp is a licensed Master Electrician in both North Dakota and Minnesota. He spent seven years working in the field before transitioning into education — a path that gave him a rare combination of hands-on trade knowledge and the ability to teach it effectively.

He currently teaches apprentices in a formal apprenticeship program — a role he's held for over four years — and spent three years as full-time faculty at a community college, earning academic tenure. His teaching is grounded in real job-site experience, not theory from a manual.

Christian holds the CDEI credential through IDECC and is a Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) through NFPA — the highest-level certification for electrical safety, enabling him to audit facilities for electrical infrastructure violations. He is licensed to provide CE instruction in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. He founded Opp Seminars to deliver the kind of training he wished existed — practical, direct, and worth every hour.
